Ingredients:
  • granulated sugar: 3 cups
  • light corn syrup: 1 cup
  • unsalted butter (melted): ½ cup
  • heavy cream: 2 tablespoons
  • vanilla extract: 1 teasoops
Directions:

Combine sugar, light corn syrup, melted butter and heavy cream in a saucepan over medium heat. Cook without stirring until mixture reaches 234°F (using candy thermometer).

Remove from heat immediately to prevent crystallization

let cool for about five minutes.
