Ingredients:
- Sugar: 2 cups
- Light corn syrup: 1 cup (approximately)
- Butterscotch or vanilla extract: 1 teaspoon
- Water: 1/4 cup
- Egg whites: 3 (separated and beaten)
Directions:
Mix sugar, corn syrup, butterscotch extract or vanilla in a large bowl. Heat the water to 250 degrees Fahrenheit.
While continuously stirring and mixing with an electric mixer at high speed until reaching 'firm-peak' stage.
