Preheat your oven to a moderate temperature (around 160°C or 320°F). Lay out the filo pastry sheets and brush each with melted butter, then layer them in multiple times. Cut into pieces if not pre-cut.
In a bowl combine chopped nuts (walnuts recommended), cinnamon sugar or ground cloves to your taste preference.
Pour the nut mixture onto one side of half of the filo pastry layers. Fold in like an envelope, then cut into triangles and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
