Ingredients:
- Pie crust dough: 1
- Eggs: 4 large
- Salted butter: 200 grams (about 7 oz)
- Smoked bacon, diced or chopped: 150 grams (about 5.3 oz)
- Heavy cream: 250 ml (about 8.45 fl oz)
- Nestle Light Evaporated Milk, unsweetened and fat-free: 6 tablespoons
- Whole milk: 1/2 cup
- Sharp cheddar cheese (or any other firm white cheese): 3/4 cup, grated
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F). Roll out the pie crust and place it in a greased quiche dish.
Sauté bacon until crispy. Remove from heat, leaving all but one tablespoon of fat behind.
Transfer half of this cooked mixture into your prepared pie shell.
