Ingredients:
- Scotch Whisky: 2 oz
- Sweet Vermouth: 3/4 oz
- Bitters (optional): dash
- Angostura Bitters: for garnish, optional quantity not typically measured in cocktail making
- Maraschino Cherry: optional for garnish
Directions:
Fill a mixing glass with ice cubes.
Pour the Scotch whisky and sweet vermouth over the ice.
Gently stir until well mixed (about 30 seconds).
Strain into a chilled rocks glass filled with fresh ice or on the rocks, if preferred without shaking.
