Season the chicken breasts on both sides with salt and pepper.

Heat a large skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat with some oil until hot but not smoking.
Cook the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on one side, then flip and cook another 5-6 minutes or until fully cooked through.
Let rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
