Season the crocodile meat generously with salt and pepper.
Heat a heavy-bottomed pan over high heat, add olive oil to prevent sticking.
Cook each side of the steak for 2 minutes or until well seared (crocodiles have thick skin so it may take longer).
Add garlic cloves and butter cubes into the pan after removing crocodile meat from heat, melting them in with residual warmth.
Allow steak to sit for a few minutes before serving.
