Ingredients:
  • Warm Water: 1 cup
  • Oil (vegetable or canola): 2 tablespoons
  • Honey: 2 tablespoons
  • Instant Yeast: 1 packet (approximately 2 and 1/4 teaspoons)
  • Salt: 1 teaspoon
  • All Purpose Flour: 3 cups plus additional for dusting surface
  • Whole Wheat Flour: 1 cup (plus extra as needed)
  • Oats, Old Fashioned Style: 1/2 cup
  • Brown Rice Flour: 1 cup (plus extra as needed)
  • Soybean flour, Gluten-free All Purpose Blend Brand Name Here: 3/4 cup
  • Flaxseed Meal (ground flax): 1 tablespoon
Directions:

In a large bowl, combine the warm water and oil with sugar. Sprinkle in yeast

let stand for 5 minutes.

Stir flour mixture into wet ingredients until blended together well (it will be shaggy at first).

Cover tightly & place it inside a warm, draft-free spot to rise about one hour or till double in bulk. Punch down dough and turn out onto an extra lightly floured surface.

Knead by hand for 5 minutes until smooth (or use mixer with hook attachment). Add the remaining dry ingredients all at once, mixing well after each addition just to incorporate into batter or dough. Form a ball shape and place back in bowl

cover tightly & let it rise again about one hour.
