Ingredients:
  • black beans: 1 can (15 oz)
  • kidney beans: 1 can (15 oz)
  • canned tomatoes: 28 oz
  • bell pepper: 1 large, diced
  • onion: 1 medium, chopped
  • garlic clove: 2-3 minced
  • cumin powder: 1 tsp
  • chili powder: 1.5 tbsp or to taste
  • ground black pepper: 0.25 tsp
  • salt: to taste, optional
Directions:

Rinse and drain black beans and kidney beans.

In a large pot or dutch oven over medium heat add bell pepper, onion, garlic cloves. Cook until softened about 5 minutes.
