Ingredients:
  • Potatoes: 2 large
  • Salt: 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper: ½ teaspoon
  • Butter or oil: 3 tablespoons
Directions:

Peel and grate the potatoes.

Rinse them thoroughly to remove excess starch, then drain well using a clean cloth. Press out as much liquid from the shredded potatoes with another layer of paper towels or kitchen cloths.
