Ingredients:
  • Warm Water: 1 cup
  • Active Dry Yeast: 2 teaspoons (7 grams)
  • All Purpose Flour: 3 cups plus 1 tablespoon
  • Kosher Salt: 2 teaspoons (10 grams)
  • Unsalted Butter, Softened at Room Temperature: 5 tablespoons plus 2 teaspoons (70 milliliters)
Directions:

In a small bowl combine the warm water and yeast. Let sit until foamy, about five minutes.

Combine flour and salt in large mixing bowl or stand mixer. Make well in center of dry ingredients with your hand then add butter

use electric mixer on low speed to blend together while gradually adding remaining 1 cup warm water.
