Ingredients:
  • Corn flour (masa): 2 cups
  • Water: 1 cup plus more for rolling the arepas if needed
  • Salt to taste: 1 teaspoon
Directions:

In a large bowl, mix together masa and water until you get a firm dough. If the mixture is too sticky, add more corn flour.

Knead for about 5 minutes on a surface sprinkled with some extra maize to prevent it from being too sticky.
