Ingredients:
  • All-purpose flour: 1.5 cups
  • Baking powder: 2 teasspoon(s)
  • Salt: 0.5 teaspoon(s)
  • Unsalted butter, melted: 4 tablespoons
  • Whole milk: 1.5 cup(s)
  • Large egg(s): 2
Directions:

Preheat waffle iron according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder and salt until well combined. Add melted butter and milk

stir just enough so that dry ingredients are moistened (mixture will be lumpy).

Whisk in eggs until smooth.

Brush a little extra oil onto the waffle iron if needed, pour batter into each section of preheated waffle iron and cook according to manufacturer’s instructions for done-ness

usually about 5 minutes. Serve immediately with your favorite syrup or fruit compote.
