Homemade Falafel

Ingredients:
  • Dried chickpeas or canned chickpeas (drained and rinsed): 1 cup
  • Ground coriander: 2 teasspoons
  • Cumin powder: 1.5 teaspoons
  • Garlic cloves (minced): 3-4
  • Fresh parsley (chopped): 1 cup
  • Red onion (finely chopped): 0.5 cup
  • Flour: 2 tablespoons for dusting
  • Olive oil: For deep frying (as needed)
Directions:

Soak the dried chickpeas overnight, or use canned ones. Drain and rinse them thoroughly after soaking.

In a food processor combine all of your ingredients except for oil to make a thick batter.
