In a small bowl, combine warm water (about 110°F), milk powder and sugar. Sprinkle the yeast on top of this mixture and let it sit for about 5 minutes until foamy.
Melt butter in microwave or stove over low heat till softened
cool slightly to avoid killing the yeast with excessive heat. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and salt. Create a well in center of dry ingredients. Pinch open package of active dried yeast into liquid mixture until dissolved (mixture should be foamy). Make an indentation in the middle of this wet area
break eggs on top.
Using electric mixer, beat all together for about 2 minutes at medium speed or by hand with wooden spoon till well mixed. Stir butter into batter. Cover and let rise until doubled (about one hour).
Heat griddle over moderately high heat
lightly grease using remaining softened unsalted butter.
