  • Cocoa powder: 3/4 cup
  • Baking soda: 1 and 1/2 teaspoons
  • Salt: 1/2 teaspoon
  • Granulated sugar: 2 cups
  • Unsweetened cocoa powder: 3 tablespoons
  • Buttermilk: 1 cup
  • Vanilla extract: 2 teaspoons
  • Eggs: 2 large
  • Unsalted butter, melted: 1/2 cup
  • Heavy cream (Baileys): 1 and 1/4 cups plus extra for pouring over the cake after baking
Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease an 8-inch square pan.

Whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda and salt in a medium bowl.
