Preheat a skillet over medium heat with 1 tablespoon of olive oil.
While the pan is heating, press each burger patty firmly between two paper towels to remove excess moisture. In a shallow dish or plastic bag combine flour and seasonings (garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper). Dredge patties in the mixture until well coated.
Place each patty onto hot skillet
cook for about 5 minutes per side, flipping once to ensure even browning. If needed add more olive oil and continue with remaining burgers using fresh pan as required.
Once all patties are done grilling transfer them to a plate resting under foil tented.
Assemble burger stacks by placing each patty between buns, top it up layer of lettuce, tomato slice or sauce if desired and enjoy your Tempeh Burger!
